BLADE SISTERS

Denver Fencing Foundation’s Inclusive Women’s Parafencing Program

At Denver Fencing Foundation, we are committed to creating a welcoming and empowering space for women in parafencing. Our women’s parafencing program, Blade Sisters, is more than just a training group—it’s a community built on strength, support, and inclusivity. As an LGBTQ-safe space, we celebrate diversity and ensure that every athlete feels valued and respected regardless of background. We know that women are underrepresented in parafencing, and we are actively working to change that by fostering a supportive environment where athletes can develop their skills, build confidence, and compete at all levels.

One of our most significant initiatives is our free, once-a-month women’s fencing outreach program, hosted in partnership with the Badass Wheelers. This program is designed to introduce more women to parafencing in a fun, low-pressure setting. We believe that no one should be held back from trying or excelling in this sport due to financial constraints, disability, or language barriers. We aim to remove obstacles and open doors, making parafencing accessible to as many women as possible. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or looking to sharpen your skills, we welcome you to join us and become a part of the Blade Sisters community.

Join us in our monthly program, which takes place every first Saturday of the Month. The time may vary due to other fencing center activities. So, check our calendar periodically for time changes.

Every 1st Saturday 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm

If time changes do happen, the class will take place from 9:30 am to 1130 am.
